How to Maintain a Brake Light Switch on 2003 Jeep Liberty?

To repair the brake light switch, turn off the airbag system by disconnection of the battery. Unscrew the old switch by turning it about and drawing it off. Install the new switch with the brake pedal down, lock the switch and adjust the plunger and hook the battery up again.
