After that, pass the starter along the body of the vehicle between the exhaust pipe and transmission bellhousing, place it carefully into the bellhousing and secure it with two bolts, tightening each to 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.) Screw the battery cable and nut onto the stud on the starter solenoid and fasten it with 11 Nm (100 in. lbs.) torque and join the solenoid wire connector to its terminal. Following that, place the starter heat shield and add the nut at the front of the starter and then secure two starter heat shield bolts at the side of the device. Put on the front propeller shaft next, then attach the left exhaust downpipe to the crossover pipe using two flange bolts. After that, set the vehicle back on its wheels and attach the negative battery cable.
