2004 Chrysler Crossfire Hazard Warning Switch Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Maintain the Hazard Warning Switch on 2004 Chrysler Crossfire?
A: First, on any vehicle with air bags, remove the battery negative cable and let the car stand for two minutes before touching the hazard warning switch. Always start with disconnecting the negative side of the battery cable. After that, take out the center console cover and cut the connector wires from the center console switch harness, pushing down on each locking tab to remove the outer group of switches. After that, press on the hazard switch locking tabs to remove the hazard switch from the center console cover. To put in the hazard switch, insert it into the compartment built into the center console, press and wait until the locking tabs are engaged. Connect the front and one of the rear door switch gangs into the center console cover and press to get the locks to capture, then reconnect the center console switch wiring. First, fit the center console cover and then hook the negative battery cable.
