2004 Chrysler Crossfire Window Motor Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Maintain a Window Motor for the Front Door on 2004 Chrysler Crossfire?
A: The first step when working on the front door window motor is to remove the negative battery cable. Lift the inside trim from the door and take care not to peel the watershield far back; you need to see the fasteners for the power window motor and its harness without any danger of the motor falling. Unhook the power window motor's connector and then drill out the rivets that hold the motor to the door to remove it. When setting up the motor, use the original hole pattern and add a smear of light oil to the gear on the motor. Screw in the attachment rivets, link up the connector harness and then put the watershield and interior panel back into place. Don't forget to reconnect the cable from the negative side of the battery.
