To repair ignition lock cylinder, apply grease in case of jamming, otherwise replace it. Remove the escutcheon and detach the transponder coil and turn the lock cylinder to position "1." After having unlocked it, grease the new cylinder, insert the new cylinder, and secure the cap. Finally, reinstall the escutcheon and the transponder coil.
