How to Maintain a Knock Sensor on 2004 Chrysler Crossfire?

You should remove the intake manifold before you can access the knock sensor. At the knock sensors, unhook the wire harness and take out the bolts holding them in the engine block. Place the knock sensors on the engine block and ensure that their bolt torque is greater than that of the other sensors, because insufficient torque may cause trouble with driving the car. Put in the retaining bolts to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.), fasten them, reconnect the wire harness connectors and then reinstall the intake manifold.
