  A: If servicing or repairing the ignition lock cylinder, use lock cylinder grease if the key or lock is sticking; but if the problem continues, replace the locked cylinder and key together. Use a suitable tool to press out the escutcheon when installing the faucet. Screw a plastic pick into the lock and then use it to pull the transponder coil off. Then, place the sleeve onto the cap and line up the cap's cylinder so that it shows "1" with your key. Slowly rotate the lock cylinder toward the left 90° and unscrew, after which you can pull the cap off. To install, place the lock cylinder into the cap after covering its outside with grease. Slide the key up to the lock and keep pushing until the key hits the stop. Screw on the cap until the lid clicks in place, then turn the key to the setting that says "O". Push the escutcheon in and fasten the transponder coil to the back of the lock cylinder.
