2004 Chrysler Pacifica MAP Sensor Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a MAP Sensor on 2004 Chrysler Pacifica?
A: The first step in Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor service and repair is disconnecting the negative battery cable. Afterward, take off the electrical connector next to the MAP sensor and remove the screw that holds it in place before pulling the sensor out. While installing, first insert the MAP Sensor O-ring and secure the sensor to the intake manifold. The screws should be tightened to 4.5 N-m (40 in. lbs.) torque. Secure the sensor, fit the electric connector and place the negative battery cable back into its place.
