  A: Begin fixing or servicing the rocker arm assembly by first taking off the cylinder head covers and accurately spotting the rocker arm assembly and the rocker arms before breaking it down. Know that as you remove the assembly, take care not to turn it over or set it on the lash adjusters, as both may result in problems. After removing the rocker arm and shafts, get the dowel pin by removing the 4 mm screw, nut, spacer and washer and be sure not to use this dowel pin again. Examine the mounting parts of the rocker arm on the shafts and watch out for dirt in the oil holes. Since the intake and exhaust rocker arms are not alike, be sure to tell them apart before taking them apart. If you find any signs of wear on an assembly, go ahead and replace it. If you remove the lash adjuster from the rocker arm assembly, you may damage it. While putting together, fit new dowel pins, rocker arms and pedestals onto the shaft and check that you press the dowel pins right to the end of their slots in the rocker shaft. While you could fit the rocker arm assembly before or after the cylinder head, it is recommended to install it after installation. Turn the camshafts to the central or neutral, position to cut down on valve spring pressure, then install the rocker arm and shaft with the required marks in view. Firmly bolt the assembly in the order shown, bringing the bolt force successively to 31 Nm (275 inch lbs.). First, lift off the cylinder head cover(s) and use locking pliers to take out and throw away the spark plug tube. Once that's done, clean around the spark plug. Attach the Mopar Stud and Bearing Mount to a new tube, set it into the cylinder head and push it into place using a mallet on a hardwood block. After changing the spark plug tube seal, first remove the cylinder head cover(s), then reinstall them.
