Next, get the assembly out, remove its connector from inside the radiator shroud, noting that the transmission cooler line snaps into the shroud's lower right-hand corner. After that, detach the crankshaft damper bolt by following with Special Tool 8513 Insert and Special Tool 1026 Three Jaw Puller. Always ensure the damper bore and the crankshaft nose are clean before fitting the damper, so damage is not likely to happen. Position the slot in the crankshaft damper with the key in the crankshaft, then push it onto the crankshaft by a small amount.
