How to Maintain a Ball Joint on 2004 Dodge Durango?

In order to service lower ball joint, take off tire, brake caliper and rotor. Loose the tie rod and detach the ball joint and the steering knuckle. Install a new ball joint using special tools to press out the old ball joint of the control arm. Remontage and verify height and alignment.
