How to Service a Sway Bar Link on 2004 Dodge Durango?

Before doing anything to the sway bar link, lift and support the vehicle first. Get rid of the lower nut (9), then take out the upper nut, retainers and grommets from the sway bar. After that, remove the sway bar link (7) from the vehicle. To put the sway bar in place, attach the sway bar link (7) to the vehicle and secure the retainers, grommets and upper nut to the sway bar (6). Turn the lower nut to 37 Nm (27 ft. lbs.). Attach the lower nut afterward and tighten it to a torque of 169 Nm (125 ft. lbs.). Then, take off the support and drive the car down off the trolley.
