2004 Dodge Durango Seat Heater Switch Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Maintain a Seat Heater Switch on 2004 Dodge Durango?
A: The first step in repairing the heated seat switch is to disconnect and seperate the negative battery cable. Lift up the instrument panel bezel at the middle and then get rid of the switch bezel and both buttons together. Carefully get the switch out from the back of the switch bezel and push on the heated seat switch until it comes through the bezel on the other side. To install, make sure the fronts of the heated seat switches match the holes in the bezel, because you can see a small keyway on the back of each switch connector. Set the heated seat switch into the center of the rear part of the bezel, place the middle bezel over the instrument panel, connect the battery cable again and test if the heated seat works.
