How to Correctly Remove and Install a Left Knock Sensor on 2004 Dodge Ram 1500?

The PCM should identify the left knock sensor correctly which is denoted by LEFT. In order to install the sensors, it is not necessary to use sealants to remove the bolts, disconnect the wiring harness, and remove the intake manifold. Wash the holes, fit in new sensors, and loosely torque the bolts and then attach the intake manifold again.
