For repairs, it is important to elevate the exhaust pipe and muffler hanger properly. Drench the nuts in the heat valve lubricant and leave the area alone for about 5 minutes. First, disconnect the tailpipe support hanger, then remove all the clamps and nuts. Go through every part, get rid of any clamps with rust or broken or worn supports and secure working attachments with new or identical replacements for correct alignment and suitable exhaust. When putting the tailpipe in place, don't tighten the bolts until the position is verified; after that, hang the support brackets and ensure the tailpipe is a safe distance from the underbody parts. Screw all the clamp nuts to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.) and lower the vehicle.
