How to Service and Repair an Axle Shaft Seal on 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

To repair the axle bearings and seals, remove the axle shaft and drill a hole in the retaining ring and cut it off. Use a press to remove the bearing, seal and plate. Check the plate for warping, grease the seal and reinstalled the bearing and axle into the vehicle.
