How to Maintain and Fix a Mirror Switch on 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

In order to fix the power mirror switch, one has to disconnect the battery negative cable, and take off the driver side front door trim panel. Unplug the memory switch harness, and pull out the switch, and then place in the new switch. Disconnect the harness, replace the trim panel and reconnect the battery cable.
