2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove and Install an Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor on 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee?
A: The IMT sensor sits in the intake manifold plenum right at the front side of the throttle body. First, unplug the sensor from its electrical connection, then remove it off the intake manifold. After removing the loose sensor from the intake manifold, insert it again, tighten to a torque of 28 N.m (20 ft.lbs.) and reconnect its electrical connector.
