How to Effectively Service and Repair a Starter Motor on 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

In repairing the starter motor, one has to disconnect the negative cable of the battery and lift up the vehicle. Take out the mounting screws, and battery cable eyelet. Unhook the solenoid wire harness, and install the new starting motor. Return the solenoid, screw the battery cable and screw the mounting screws then lower the vehicle and reconnect the battery.
