How to Maintain a Throttle Cable and Its Linkage on 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

To repair throttle cable, keep the accelerator pedal to loosen the cable retainer and the core wire. Un-plug the cable of the pedal arm and dash panel and pull it into the engine compartment. Disconnect it with throttle body, remove it and fit in the new cable with well-positioned connections and binding before starting the engine.
