How Can the Canister Purge Valve Be Located, Removed, and Installed on 2004 Jeep Liberty?

The duty cycle EVAP canister purge valve is installed on a bracket found between the battery and the Power Distribution Center (PDC) inside the engine compartment, next to the EVAP system test port. Before removing the valve, unplug the connector on the electrical wiring and the harness on the vacuum line at its base. Then, straighten your hand before pulling the valve upward out of the bracket. To install, slide the EVAP canister purge valve onto its bracket, join the harness to the valve and attach the electrical connectors to complete the job.
