  A: Before servicing the blower motor, turn off the air bag on vehicles with air bags by disconnecting the negative battery cable and letting the air bag system's capacitor discharge for two minutes. Open by uninstalling the instrument panel silencer from the passenger-side section of your dashboard. After that, lift the tab on the wire harness lock, disconnect the wire harness and pull out the wire harness retainers from the blower motor. Screws (3) attaching the blower motor to the housing (4) should be taken out and the motor taken out. Put the blower motor into the HVAC housing and secure it with the four screws, tightening them to 2.2 N.m (20 in.lbs.). Attach the wire harness connector (1) to the blower motor and snap the locking tab in and then install each HVAC wire harness retainer onto the blower motor. After that, mount the passenger side instrument panel silencer and reattached the negative battery cable.
