2005 Chrysler 300 Cabin Air Filter Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Maintain Your Cabin Air Filter on 2005 Chrysler 300?
A: Start by taking out the air inlet grille from the wiper module screen that's on the dash panel close to the engine. Take off the cover on the top of the particulate air filter by using the panel plenum inside the dash. Before you pull out the filter, check the location it is installed in to assist you when reinstalling it. After opening the housing, remove the particulate air filter and pay attention to the arrow on the filter that directs air flow. As you put in the new particulate air filter, check that "Rear Of Vehicle" is on the back of the filter and the arrow indicates the rear of the car. Place the filter in the heating or cooling element housing so it stays put by friction, rather than using fasteners. Following installation, close the door of the particulate air filter and attach the wiper module grille back to the air inlet.
