What is a Door Jamb Switch and How to Service It on 2005 Chrysler Crossfire?

Before you service the door ajar switch, cut off the negative battery connection. Hold the top of the switch up while pressing and releasing the retaining tab at the top of the switch with the trim stick. Then, pull the top of the switch down to disconnect the door ajar switch harness connector. First install the door ajar switch harness connector, then fit the bottom of the switch into the B-pillar space and rotate it up until it's fully seated. When you are done, attach the negative battery cable again.
