How to Service an Engine Control Module on 2005 Chrysler Crossfire?

Before you start the service, make sure you disconnect the negative battery cable. Press forward on the plastic clips to take out the cover of the control module box. Without pressing in the metal powertrain control module retaining clip, pull the powertrain control module up and from the control module box. Augment the electrical connectors, then take out the powertrain control module. First, link the electrical connectors to the control module and then secure the module back into the box. Reattach the powertrain control module in the metal clip it belongs in. Detach the control module case by lifting it up. Push the clips in the back to lock the new box in place. Finish by connecting the negative battery terminal.
