To fix the EGR valve, disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the air cleaner housing. Remove the solenoid harness and vacuum line, EGR tube flange nut and mounting bolts. Clean up surfaces, install a new gasket and loosely install components before tightening them to specified torque.
