How to Service an Oil Filter on 2005 Chrysler Crossfire?

Open the oil filter by first twisting off the cap with an oil filter wrench if the filter isn't already. When you've taken off both the cap and the filter, take the oil filter out as well. After removing the oil filter cap seal, put a new filter into the cap and secure it. Once the filter supports are attached, place the filter and cap, tightening them by hand up to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
