To change the sensor, the negative battery cable and sensor connector should not be pulled and only need to be disconnected. Take the sensor out with a socket, empty the PCM RAM memory and clean the threads and use anti-seize in the event of re-use. Tighten 41 N.m, reconnect sensor, and battery cable.
