How to Remove and Replace a Hood Latch on 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

To replace the hood latch, open the hood and mark the position of the hood latch. Remove the two stud bolts and release the cable. Install the new latch and connect the cable and tie it loose. Align it with the marks and tighten the bolts and check the hood alignment & latch operation.
