How to Service the Front Sway Bar Link in Your Suspension System on 2005 Dodge Dakota?

Raise and support your vehicle before working on servicing the sway bar link in the front suspension. Unscrew and remove the lower nut 5, then pull the upper nut off, take out all the retainers and grommets from the sway bar 3. At this point, take the center link 1 out of the vehicle. Proceed by fixing the sway bar link 1 first to the car when installing. After that, fit the retainers, grommets and upper nut onto sway bar 3, then tighten to 37 Nm (27 ft. lbs.). Then, put in the lower nut 5 and tighten it to 169 Nm (125 ft. lbs.). After that, take out the support and lower the vehicle.
