How to Maintain an Ambient Temperature Sensor on 2005 Dodge Neon?

Service of the ambient temperature sensor should start with opening the hood and disconnecting the negative cable from the battery. Get to the ambient temperature sensor by reaching through the front fascia's lower opening and taking it out of the radiator panel. Detach the connector from the sensor, then take out the sensor from the vehicle. Afterward, again slide your hand into the lower front fascia hole and plug the electrical connector into the ambient temperature sensor. Set the sensor where it will be sealed and then connect the negative battery cable after putting the sensor back.
