To service a Sanden A/C compressor clutch while maintaining a charged refrigerant system, disconnect the battery, remove the drive belt and disconnect the clutch coil. Remove the compressor as well as the clutch plate and snap ring. Install the new clutch coil and make sure it's locked and pieces are reassembled, making sure there is proper air gap and connections.
