How to Service and Repair an ABS Control Module on 2005 Dodge Ram 3500?

Service the Electronic Brake Control Module by disconnecting the negative battery cable first. Pull up the ABM harness connector release to make it come loose and after that, remove the bolts that hold the ABM mount. Then, disconnect the pump from the ABM and remove the ABM out of the HCU. It is necessary to reprogram any new ABM installed using a DRB. Install the ABM into the HCU, relink the pump connector to the ABM and tighten the 2 mounting bolts using your torque wrench to 2 N.m (16 in.lbs.). Next, connect the wiring harness to the ABM and push down on the release to make sure it is secure and finally attach the negative battery cable to the battery.
