How to Service the Sway Bar Link on 2005 Dodge Ram 3500?

Before servicing the sway bar link on a 4X2 car, make sure it is stable by raising and supporting it. Start by getting rid of the lower nut, then the upper nut, retainer and finally the grommets. After removing the body and wheels, disconnect the sway bar link (1) from the vehicle. A new sway bar link (1) needs to be positioned on the vehicle, while securing it using the lower nut, at a torque of 102 Nm (75 ft. lbs.). After that, insert the retainers and grommets, then fit the upper nut, tightening it to a torque of 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.). To finish, drop the vehicle from the support and lower it to the floor again.
