How to Maintain an Exhaust Manifold on 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

In order to service the exhaust manifold, disconnect the battery, jack up the vehicle, and remove the bolts on the exhaust pipe. Remove the heat shield, and remove the manifold and gasket. Install and tighten the new manifold with sealer on studs and reassemble the exhaust pipe to specified torque.
