How Is a Water Pump Serviced on 3.7L Engines on 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

To remove the water pump on 3.7L engines, detach the battery, empty out the cooling system and apply suitable hose clamps. Take off fan shroud, accessory belt and lower radiator hose. Check the pump, clean the surfaces, and mount the new pump with gasket, and routing is required. Take a refill of the cooling system and leak check.
