2006 Chrysler Crossfire Car Speakers Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove and Install Car Speakers in the Rear Panel on 2006 Chrysler Crossfire?
A: To remove the rear panel speaker, move the seats and tilt them all the way forward before removing the door sill molding, edge plate and door edge molding. Use care when removing the grille because it's plastic and pulling it off can break it; instead, use a trim stick to disconnect the grille tab from the back panel and lift it out. Fold over the back panel carpet to get to the retaining nuts and then remove the retaining nuts and the speaker shroud from the frame inside. Get rid of the rear mounting frame by detaching the rear panel speaker harness. Start by setting the inner mounting frame with the speaker for the left or right rear panel in place, connecting the harness at the rear panel and then adding the shroud to the frame. Replace the nuts on the retaining frame, unfold the back panel carpet and fit in the rear panel speaker grille. After that, reinstall the moldings on the front and sides of the car and put the seats in the position you normally drive them.
