2006 Chrysler Pacifica Engine Mount Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a Left Engine Mount on 2006 Chrysler Pacifica?
A: Start the engine service by turning off the negative battery cable, then open the engine cover and remove the radiator cooling fan assembly. Raise and secure the vehicle and remove both nuts securing the engine to the cradle. Lower the car and fasten the engine stand to it so the engine is secure. Unbolt the engine mounts and then take them out. To fit the engine, position the engine mount over the bracket and tighten the nut until you reach 101 Nm or 75 ft. lbs. After that, put the left mount onto the engine and tighten its bolts to 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.). Lift the vehicle just enough to remove its engine support still and then put the vehicle back on support stands. After both engine mount to cradle nuts are installed, tighten them to 101 Nm (75 ft. lbs.). Lowerthe vehicle, add the radiator fan assembly, place back the engine cover and then reattach the negative battery cable.
