How to Maintain the Upper Grille on 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

You should lift and prop the hood before approaching the upper grille. Take out the four screws connecting the grille to the nuts on the fender and upper radiator support. Firmly pull the grille upward and to the side, taking care so the two hooks detach from the fender and allow you to take out the grille. Remove the chrome strips from the grille, one by one, with a small flat blade tool to free the retaining tabs. For installing, put the chrome strips in place and push their retaining tabs all the way down onto the grille. Put the grille in the front of the vehicle and secure both retaining hooks to the fender. Slowly move the grille in until it fits perfectly while aligning the top with the fenders and upper radiator support bracket, then screw the grille into the fenders and support bar on the top.
