While changing out the left front impact sensor, unmount the air intake system. After that, remove the connector 3 from the engine compartment and take out the two mounting screws 2. For installation, make sure the front impact sensor is lined up right and use S2786-S to tighten the two mounting screws to 7 N.m (62 in. lb.). Connect electrical connector 3 again and if you replaced the left front impact sensor, attach the air intake system. Always hold back connecting the battery negative cable until the system test has been run to prevent personal harm or death.
