How to Maintain Your Seat Cushion on 2006 Dodge Dakota?

Start your process by reading all warnings and cautions about the front seat cushion. Bring the seat to the front and separate the negative battery wire. Pull out the bolts and clamps to separate the seat cushion and if the seat has them, take out the electrical connector as well. Cut the j-straps away from the seat cushion and the foam beneath them. First, put the cushion cover and foam over the seat pan, then secure the j-straps. Put the seat cushion assembly into the seat frame and clip it in place with the clamps. Once you have the wire harness, plug it into the seat cushion pan, place the bolts and tighten them to 10 N.m (90 in. lbs.). Don't forget to attach the negative cable back to the battery.
