How to Service an Axle Shaft Seal on 2006 Dodge Durango?

You need to remove the axle shaft so you can service the seal. After that, grab a pry bar and remove the axle shaft seal from the opposite side of the axle tube. It is important to get rid of any previous sealer or sharp pieces within the axle tube, before you start. Cover the edge of the seal with axle lube and fit it into place with Installer 9337 and Handle C-4171. After all of this, place the axle shaft back into the transmission.
