In order to service the Denso A/c compressor clutch, the battery must be disconnected, the drive belt removed, and the compressor detached. Remove the clutch plate and field coil and install the new parts, taking care to correctly align and air gap. For Visteon compressor similar steps, just with the special tools for installation.
