  A: The second component, an IMT sensor for the intake manifold temperature, is found at the front of the intake manifold plenum. The IMT sensor is removed after you unplug the electrical connector from it. Clean away all soil around the sensor, raise the small tab at the bottom of the sensor and turn it about a quarter-turn counterclockwise to get it out. Look at the state of the sensor O-ring. When putting the sensor in place, be sure the O-ring is fine and oil-free and wipe down the intake manifold hole it will go into. Hold the sensor to the intake manifold and rotate it clockwise so that it clears the release tab; then attach the electrical connector.
