  A: The right cylinder head at the top/front of the engine houses the Camshaft Position Sensor. To take out the sensor, disconnect the connector and next unscrew the mounting bolt from the sensor. Twist the sensor gently to remove it from the cylinder head and look at the O-ring to see if it's in good condition. When installing, wipe the machined hole in the cylinder head and spread a tiny amount of engine oil on the sensor O-ring. Pushing and rotating the sensor gently as it goes in is important so that no damage occurs to the sensor mounting tang before tightening the mounting bolt to 12 N.m (106 in. lbs.). After that, reconnect the electrical component to the sensor.
