2006 Jeep Commander MAP Sensor Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove and Install a MAP Sensor on 2006 Jeep Commander?
A: The MAP sensor stands up front in the intake manifold and must be dealt with correctly for installation and removal. First, take out the electrical connector from the MAP sensor and after that, clean the space where the sensor is positioned. After that, take the sensor mounting screws out and pull the MAP sensor from the intake manifold to check the O-ring. Once you start installation, you should first clean the MAP sensor mounting hole and inspect the O-ring to make sure it is whole. Place the sensor into the manifold, install all the mounting bolts and attach the electrical connector, following the b dose height of the bolts recommended by the manufacturer.
