How to Maintain a Mirror Switch on 2006 Jeep Commander?

You should first remove the negative terminal from the battery to work on the power mirror switch. Following that, remove the door trim panel, then turn the switch to take it out of the panel. Place the power mirror switch back in the door trim panel and attach the wire harness connectors to the switches during installation. Once that's done, replace the door trim panel and connect the negative battery connector again.
