How to Service a Rear Crossmember on 2006 Jeep Commander?

To service the rear cross-member, take the skid plate off and prop up the transmission. Take out the four bolts in the transmission mount and eight bolts from the crossmember. Reinstall the crossmember with the bolts tightened to 54N.m and then reinstall the transmission mount bolts and skid plate.
