How to Service and Repair a Front Engine Mount on 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Before working on the front engine mount, cut the negative wire from the battery and lift the vehicle. Pull out the engine mount thru bolts and raise the engine with a proper jack. After that, unscrew the two bolts on the mounting bracket and move the mount away from the engine. While installing, place the engine mount and use a torque wrench to turn the bolts to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.). Reduce the engine, then place the thru bolts and nuts. After that, lower the vehicle and secure the negative battery cable again.
