How to Maintain the Fuel Door and Its Housing on 2006 Jeep Liberty?

Before servicing either, it is important to first unscrew the fuel cap. After that, remove the three screws that connect the fuel door/housing to the filler neck. Find both tabs on the right side of the door/housing, press them in and the door will detach from the vehicle. Place the fuel filler door/housing into your vehicle and snap in the tabs. Following this, use the screws to fasten the door and finally put the fuel cap in place.
